January 13, 2016 Oil reserves have plummeted and prices have sky rocketed recently as production has slowed due to wells drying at a persistent rate around the globe. OPEC is in shambles and can no longer meet demand. Consumers are worried and agitated with the recent shortcomings and are looking for answers. A recent geological survey has showed that the former Ukraine region in eastern Europe is sitting on top of a large vein of oil that is capable of sustaining current oil demand for atleast the next 50 years. The region has been fiercely contested for in recent political movements. The area lies in what has become a DMZ between Britain and the Asian Coalition. Current leadership from both countries has declined statements at this point; but both have promised to make announcements concerning the region in the near future. It is quite possible that this region will be a key factor in world politics.
