SCEN: Shattered World

Scenario:

The Year is 2017. World stability is hanging by a thin thread. The vast Asian coalition has been rapidly advancing their technology, while expanding their military prowess. The former NATO states have broken away from their ties, and now are acting upon independent intrests. The American and Russian superpowers are back into a cold war status; knowing full well the remaining oil supplies of the world are at stake. The Korean peninsula is now reunited under a monarchial republic; the Russians are pressing for rights in Georgia and the Czech republics... these are but a few of the many changes that have occurred.

Recent tensions have continued to rise between several nations, and no one is sure what the next move is going to be. The stage is set; and the world will never be the same.

MILSIM means realism, and we are going for ultimate realism.
If anyone has additional websites for the harder to find camo patterns pm me and I'll add them.

Bio's/Nametapes: Each player who is registered will be given a bio ... that means EVERY PLAYER will have their own unique character/background for this event... to give it an ultra realistic feeling. We will provide nametapes and faction tapes to go on your uniform(s) in your packets... so make sure you get them on your uniforms before the event!

Camo Purchase Program: If you want to be a faction, you must wear their camo... henceforth, you must buy it if you don't have it. If you would like us to purchase the camo for you and issue it to you upon your arrival, simply let us know, we will add the cost to your registration, and once that is paid, you will be issued the needed camo (which you will keep of course) upon arrival at the game.

Patches: We will require that you have a patch on your uniform bearing your countries flag. The flag may be full color, or subdued. We recommend this site www.flagpatchshop.com/, you can get patches from any of the involved countries (we recommended the patch without the country name, again, for realism.)
** If you can't get a patch before the game, we will have them available on site in limited numbers for sale, along with hot fix glue to attach them to your uniform.** (Note that these flags are not reversed, so we will be having hte patches put on the left shoulder.**

Magazines Will Be Restricted Low/Midcaps, and there will be ammo limitations, however that will be talked about later

Thanks for the compliment. This is the first large scale event I've been the primary planner on, I've only personally hosted smaller in state events. I plan on making this event an annual one though. Also, anyone who has signed up on these boards please PM me with the info I need (name, address, faction etc) so that I can get you added to the roster!

It should be taking place in Hastings, MI, which is about 25-30 minutes south-east of Grand Rapids. Also, if memory serves me right, it's about 55 acres, but don't quote me on it.
